Instagram scraper API: questions
Is there an official Instagram API for this data?
Meta's Instagram Graph API covers professional accounts that connect to your app. It does not let you look up arbitrary public profiles, which is what these endpoints do.
Can I scrape private Instagram accounts?
No. Only data visible to logged-out visitors is returned. Private accounts return their public profile fields only.
Why are only 15 comments returned per post?
Logged-out Instagram shows only the 15 newest top-level comments of a post, so that is the public maximum.
Which Instagram endpoint should I start with?
The profile endpoint (1 credit) for account data, the posts endpoint for recent posts, and reels for short-video performance.
How much does the Instagram scraper API cost?
