YouTube Scraper APIYouTube tools FAQ
Can any of these tools download YouTube videos?
No. They read public data such as transcripts, thumbnails, tags and stats. None of them download YouTube videos or audio.
Do I need a Google account?
No. Every tool reads YouTube as a logged-out visitor, so you never sign in and the channel owner is not notified.
Why are subscriber counts rounded but views exact?
YouTube shows only shortened subscriber counts, such as 15.1M, to anyone but the channel owner. Video views and likes are published as exact numbers.
Why do the comment tools stop at 100 comments?
The free comment tools load up to 100 top-level comments per video, which is a sample on popular videos. Replies are not included.
Do these tools use the YouTube Data API?
No. They read the public pages YouTube serves to any visitor, so there is no API key, quota or Google sign-in on your side.
