How to view a Pinterest profile without an account

  1. Step 1

    Get the username

    It is the @name under the profile name, or the part after pinterest.com/ in the profile address.

  2. Step 2

    Press View profile

    The profile loads with its counts, bio, website and the 12 latest pins.

  3. Step 3

    Open a pin

    Tap any pin to see it large with its title, saves and board. Photos and videos can be saved from there.

What is the Pinterest Profile Viewer?

The Pinterest Profile Viewer shows a public Pinterest profile without a Pinterest account. You enter a username and get the profile picture, name, bio, website, verified mark and the follower, following, pin and board counts, followed by a grid of the account's 12 latest pins that open full screen.

Pinterest lets logged-out visitors open a profile but soon covers it with a sign-up prompt. The viewer reads the same public profile record plus the account's recent pin activity and shows them as a grid, newest first, without the pop-up.

Counts appear rounded, as on Pinterest; on a computer, hover a number to see the full figure. Secret boards and their pins are never included, because Pinterest shows them only to the owner and invited collaborators.

  • It shows the 12 latest pins, not the full history or every board.
  • Secret boards and their pins are never shown.
  • Follower lists aren't available, only the counts.
  • pin.it short links don't work here. Use the username or the pinterest.com address.

If something goes wrong

User not found
Check the username after pinterest.com/ in the profile address. Display names with spaces aren't usernames.
The profile has no pins
The account may have no public pins, or keep them on secret boards.
A video pin won't play
Some video pins only play on Pinterest. Paste the pin's link into the Pinterest Video Downloader to look for the MP4.

Do I need a Pinterest account to view a profile?

No. Enter a username and the viewer shows the public profile and recent pins without a Pinterest login.

Will they know I viewed their profile?

No. Pinterest doesn't tell people who looked at their profile.

Can I see who viewed my Pinterest profile?

No tool can. Pinterest Analytics gives owners totals, not names.

Can I see secret boards?

No. Secret boards are visible only to their owner and invited collaborators.

Which pins does it show?

The 12 pins the account saved or created most recently, newest first.

Can I save pins from a profile?
