Do pin.it short links work?
Yes, for single pins. The video and image downloaders follow pin.it links from the app's Share button to the pin. The board and profile tools need the full pinterest.com address.
Why can I only get about 25 pins from a board?
Pinterest stops sending a board's pins after the first page to visitors who aren't logged in. The board header still shows the full pin count.
Are Pinterest images free to use?
No. Pinterest doesn't own or license pinned images. Use the source link on each pin to find the creator and ask before you reuse anything.
Can these tools see secret boards?
No. Secret boards are visible only to their owner and invited collaborators.
Why does a saved image look sharper than the app's?
The app often shows a resized copy. The image downloader asks for the original upload and falls back to the next largest copy only when there is no original.
