Best TikTok scraper APIs in 2026
Seven ways to get public TikTok data in 2026, compared on pricing model, list prices, free tier, platform coverage and limits: Scrape Everything, ScrapeCreators, EnsembleData, SociaVault, Apify, Bright Data and TikTok's official Research API.
By the Scrape Everything team · · Updated · 7 min read
TikTok is one of the most requested sources of social data, and also one of the harder ones to collect from. The official APIs are tied to specific programs, so most teams that need public profile, video and comment data end up choosing a third-party API. There are a lot of them, priced in very different ways.
This roundup compares seven options. It does not rank them by speed or success rate, because we have not run an independent benchmark and we do not want to publish numbers we cannot back up. Instead it lays out what each vendor states publicly, what each one is good at, and when you should pick it over the others.
How we selected and compared
- TikTok coverage. The option must return public TikTok data such as profiles, videos or comments, either as a dedicated API or as ready-made scrapers.
- Public pricing. We only list prices that appear on the vendor's own pricing page. Competitor figures were checked on October 22, 2026.
- Pricing model. Credit packs, subscriptions and per-result pricing behave very differently for bursty and steady workloads, so we name the model, not just a headline price.
- Free tier. Can you test with real requests before paying?
- Breadth. How many other platforms the same account covers, if you need more than TikTok.
- Stated limits and policies. For example whether failed requests are charged, as far as the vendor states it.
The comparison table

Product names are trademarks of their owners; we are not affiliated with them. Per-1k list prices are not directly comparable: a credit, a unit and a record are different things, credits per call differ between vendors, and endpoints that return lists may cost more than one. On Scrape Everything most TikTok endpoints cost 1 credit and the sound endpoint costs 2. For a deeper look at the pricing models, see our pricing comparison.
The options, one by one
1. Scrape Everything
Our API covers Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, X (Twitter), Facebook, Telegram, Spotify, Pinterest and Twitch behind one key and one response format. For TikTok there are seven synchronous JSON endpoints: profile, videos, single video, comments (up to 100 per request), transcript, sound and hashtag. Credits come in one-time packs (Builder $39 for 25,000, Growth $119 for 100,000, Scale $449 for 500,000), never expire, failed requests are refunded and cache hits are free.
The honest limits: the videos endpoint returns at most the 12 newest videos from the public embed, there is no TikTok keyword search or TikTok Shop endpoint, and payment is crypto only, via 2328.
Choose Scrape Everything if you need TikTok profiles, video stats, comments or transcripts on demand, your volume is irregular, and you want prepaid credits with automatic refunds for failures.
2. ScrapeCreators
ScrapeCreators lists 38+ APIs, including platforms we do not cover, such as LinkedIn, Reddit and Threads. Its TikTok endpoints include profile, profile videos, comments and transcripts, and it offers an MCP server for AI agents. Credits never expire and cache hits cost 0 credits, as stated on their site. Packs start at $47 for 25,000 credits ($1.88 per 1,000 credits) and go to $497 for 500,000 ($0.99 per 1,000 credits).
Choose ScrapeCreators if you need TikTok plus LinkedIn, Reddit or Threads from one vendor, or you want the broadest set of platforms on a single account. Our side-by-side is at Scrape Everything vs ScrapeCreators.
3. EnsembleData
EnsembleData sells monthly subscriptions measured in units per day. The Wood plan is $100 per month for 1,500 units per day, and plans run from $200 to $1,400 per month for 5,000 to 50,000 units per day. There is a free tier with 50 units per day and no card required, and their pricing page states that no units are charged for failures caused by internal errors. Coverage includes TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Threads, Reddit, Twitch, Twitter and Snapchat.
Choose EnsembleData if you run a steady daily TikTok workload, prefer a predictable monthly bill, or also need Threads, Reddit or Snapchat. See Scrape Everything vs EnsembleData.
4. SociaVault
SociaVault sells one-time credit packs for an API covering more than 25 platforms and services. Its site lists TikTok videos, Shop, comments and profiles. Packs are $29 for 6,000 credits, $79 for 20,000, $199 for 75,000 and $399 for 200,000, and credits never expire. New accounts get 50 free credits.
Choose SociaVault if you need TikTok Shop data, or a platform on their list that is not on ours, and you like several pack sizes between entry and volume. See Scrape Everything vs SociaVault.
5. Apify Actors
Apify is a general scraping and automation platform. TikTok scrapers there are "Actors" in its store, many built by third parties, each with its own pricing and output format. The platform has a free plan with $5 of usage per month, then Starter at $19, Scale at $199 and Business at $999 per month. You get scheduling, storage and integrations built in, which is a real advantage if you want a managed pipeline rather than an API call.
Choose Apify if you need TikTok alongside sites beyond social media, or you want scheduling and storage handled for you. Pick an Actor carefully and check its own pricing. See Scrape Everything vs Apify.
6. Bright Data
Bright Data is a web data company with proxies, scraper APIs and ready-made datasets. Its Web Scraper API is $1.50 per 1,000 records pay as you go, with a Scale plan at $499 per month for 384,000 records and $1.30 per 1,000 after that. There is a free tier with 5,000 records per month and no card required, and their pricing page states there are no charges for failed deliveries.
Choose Bright Data if you need enterprise contracts, pre-collected datasets or proxy infrastructure to build your own TikTok scrapers. See Scrape Everything vs Bright Data.
7. TikTok's official Research API
TikTok's Research API gives approved researchers access to public data directly from TikTok. Eligibility is narrow: academic institutions in the U.S., EEA, UK, Canada or Switzerland, certain not-for-profit research organizations in the EU, and academic or not-for-profit organizations studying online youth safety in Brazil. Applicants must be independent of commercial interests and disclose research funding.
Choose the Research API if you are an eligible academic or non-profit researcher. First-party access is the best foundation for published research, and none of the commercial options above replace it. Commercial products are not eligible.
How to test any of these in 10 minutes
- Pick three TikTok accounts and two video URLs you already know well, so you can spot wrong numbers.
- Sign up for the free tier of two or three vendors from the table.
- Request the same profile and video from each, and save the raw JSON.
- Compare the fields you need, the error format when you send a handle that does not exist, and how many credits each call used.
With Scrape Everything, create an API key after signing in (100 free credits, no payment details needed) and run:
curl -X POST https://api.scrapeeverything.com/v1/tiktok/profile \
-H "Authorization: Bearer $SCRAPEEVERYTHING_API_KEY" \
-H "Content-Type: application/json" \
-d '{"username": "khaby.lame"}'Swap the path for /v1/tiktok/video with {"url": "..."} to test a single video, or /v1/tiktok/comments for comments. Each response includes meta.credits_charged, so you can see the cost of every call. Field lists for each endpoint are on the TikTok scraper pages.
FAQ
Is there an official TikTok API for public data?
Yes, the Research API, but only for eligible academic and not-for-profit researchers in specific regions. Commercial teams usually rely on third-party APIs for public profile and video data.
How do the prices compare?
It depends on your workload. At the 25,000 and 500,000 credit pack sizes, Scrape Everything lists a lower list price per 1,000 credits than ScrapeCreators, and SociaVault's listed packs cost more per 1,000 credits (as of October 22, 2026). A credit is not necessarily one call on any side, and a subscription or per-record plan can work out cheaper for some steady workloads. Estimate with your own call mix and each vendor's endpoint costs.
Can I get TikTok transcripts?
Scrape Everything and ScrapeCreators both have TikTok transcript endpoints. Ours returns timestamped captions with the available languages: see the TikTok Transcript API.
Do I need a TikTok account?
Not for the third-party APIs here. They return data that is publicly visible on TikTok. The Research API requires an approved application.
Is scraping public TikTok data legal?
It depends on what you collect, where you are and what you do with it. Read our overview of the legal questions (not legal advice) and talk to a lawyer for your specific case.
