What the TikTok Profile Scraper API does
The TikTok Profile Scraper API returns a public TikTok profile as JSON: username, nickname, bio, bio link, verification and privacy flags, region, account creation date, profile image and the four numbers that matter for creator research: followers, following, total likes received and video count. Send a username, an @handle or a profile URL. There is no TikTok developer program application, OAuth or proxy management involved. Combine it with the TikTok videos endpoint to compare follower counts with real play counts on recent videos. Each lookup costs 1 credit; with cache_days, repeated lookups of the same creator are free.

Does it include the creator's videos?
No, this endpoint returns the profile only. Use the TikTok videos endpoint for the newest videos with play counts.
What is like_count?
The total number of likes the account's videos have received, as TikTok shows it on the profile.
Do I need TikTok API access?
No. You only need a Scrape Everything API key; the endpoint returns data that is visible on the public profile.
How much does the TikTok Profile Scraper API cost?

Am I charged for failed requests?
No. If the platform blocks the request, it times out or something fails on our side, the credits are refunded automatically. A definitive answer such as "this account does not exist" is billed because the lookup completed.
