Free X (Twitter) Tools

Six free tools for public X (Twitter) posts and profiles: save videos, GIFs and photos, see a profile with its latest posts, and look up profile pictures and user IDs. They read only what X shows to logged-out visitors, so you never connect your X account.

X tools FAQ

Do these tools work with x.com and twitter.com links?

Yes. X still answers on twitter.com, so the tools accept x.com, twitter.com and mobile.twitter.com links as well as plain @handles.

Why do X GIFs download as MP4?

X converts every GIF to a short, silent MP4 when it is posted. That MP4 is the only copy X keeps, so it is what any downloader can give you.

Can any tool see protected X accounts?

No. Protected posts are visible only to approved followers who are logged in. Our tools show a protected account's public profile and picture, never its posts.

Why can't I see someone's followers or likes?

X hides follower lists from logged-out visitors and made likes private for everyone in 2024, so no logged-out tool can list them.

Does X notify people when I use these tools?

No. The lookups aren't tied to your X account, and X doesn't report profile views to anyone.
