How to download a TikTok sound

What is the TikTok MP3 Downloader?

The TikTok MP3 Downloader is a free web tool that takes a TikTok video link and gives you the sound used in that video as an audio file. Along with the file you see the sound's title and author, its cover art, whether it is an original sound, and a player to preview it before you save.

TikTok links every video to a sound with its own ID, title and audio file. The tool reads the video's public data as a logged-out visitor, finds that sound and its file address, and streams the file to you exactly as TikTok serves it. The file name ends in .mp3 or .m4a to match the real format, and both play on phones, computers and in editors such as CapCut.

Some licensed songs only play inside the TikTok app, and TikTok shares no audio file for them with logged-out visitors. The result then says so instead of offering a broken download. For songs from TikTok's music library, the file is usually the clip TikTok offers rather than the full track.

  • Some licensed songs come back without an audio file, because TikTok only plays them inside the app.
  • The audio isn't converted or improved: you get the bitrate TikTok stores.
  • Private and deleted videos can't be loaded.

If something goes wrong

There is no Download audio button
TikTok shared no audio file for this sound, which happens with some licensed songs. The TikTok Song Finder still gives you the song name to play it on a music service.
The file ends in .m4a, not .mp3
TikTok stores some sounds as M4A. It plays in the same apps as MP3; if an app insists on MP3, convert it with any audio converter.

Links like tiktok.com/music/… aren't accepted. Open a video that uses the sound and copy that video's link instead.
“Video not found or unavailable”
That video is private or deleted. Any other public video with the same sound works.

It's MP3 or M4A, as TikTok serves it, and in our checks it was MP3. The tool never converts the audio, and the file name ends in the matching extension, .mp3 or .m4a.

Can I download a TikTok sound without the video?

What audio quality do I get?
