What is the TikTok Comment Picker?

The TikTok Comment Picker is a free tool that draws random winners from the comments of a TikTok video. Paste the giveaway video's link and set the rules: a word the comment must contain, a minimum number of @mentions and one entry per person. It then picks 1 to 10 winners from the first 100 top-level comments TikTok returns.

The draw runs in your browser with its cryptographic random number generator, using rejection sampling so every qualifying comment has exactly the same chance. Nothing is decided on our server. The result shows how many comments qualified and the time of the draw; take a screenshot to share it.

A fair draw depends on the pool. TikTok's public list gives at most 100 top-level comments per video, in its own order, and leaves out replies and filtered comments. On a giveaway with more than 100 comments, people outside that first 100 can't win, so this picker suits smaller giveaways, and your rules should say so.

What this tool can't do

  • The pool is at most 100 top-level comments, in TikTok's order. On bigger giveaways, later comments can't win.
  • Replies don't count as entries.
  • It can't check whether a winner follows you or liked the video; check that by hand.
  • Up to 30 new lookups a day per visitor. For more, use the API.

If something goes wrong

No comments qualify
A rule is too strict, or people spelled the keyword differently. Loosen one rule and watch the qualifying count.
Comments are turned off
The video has comments disabled, so there is nobody to pick from.
One person won twice
Turn on One entry per person, so several comments from the same account count once.

TikTok Comment Picker FAQ

Is the TikTok comment picker really random?

Yes. The winner is picked in your browser with its cryptographic random number generator, and every qualifying comment has the same chance.

How many comments does it draw from?

Up to 100 top-level comments, the most TikTok's public list returns for a video. The tool shows how many loaded, so on a bigger giveaway you know some entries are missing.

Can I pick more than one winner?

Yes. Choose 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 or 10 winners; a comment can win only once per draw.

Do I need to log in with TikTok?

No. The tool reads public comments, so your TikTok account is never connected.

Are replies counted as entries?

No. Only top-level comments load, so replies don't count.

How do I show the draw was fair?

Share a screenshot of the result, which lists the winners, the number of qualifying comments and the draw time. Recording your screen during the draw adds more proof.

Use it responsibly

The tool shows only what TikTok shows to anyone who isn't logged in. Use what you see for research, planning and your own records, and respect people's privacy. Is this your account? Request removal.
