What the Pinterest Search Scraper API does
The Pinterest Search Scraper API runs a Pinterest keyword search and returns up to 50 pins in Pinterest's logged-out relevance order. Each pin has its ID, link, title, description, alt text, dominant color, largest image with dimensions, video URL for video pins, the outbound link and domain, creation date, board and pinner. Promoted pins and board suggestions are skipped, so you get organic results only. Send a query of up to 200 characters. Search results carry fewer counts than single pins: repin, comment, favorite and share counts are usually null, so pass interesting pin IDs to the Pinterest pin endpoint for engagement. It is built for visual trend research, product discovery and finding which websites rank for a topic. Each request costs 2 credits.
What you get

pins | array<object> (25 fields each) | Matching pins in Pinterest's order, max limit |
pins_fetched | integer | Number of pins returned |

Questions
How many results do I get?
Up to 50 pins per request (default 20). has_more tells you whether more results exist.
Why are counts missing?
Search results carry fewer counts than single pins: repin, comment, favorite and share counts are usually null. Use the Pinterest pin endpoint for full counts.
Are promoted pins included?
No. Promoted pins and board suggestions are skipped.
How much does the Pinterest Search Scraper API cost?
2 credits per successful request. Credits are bought in one-time packs and never expire. New accounts get 100 free credits. No payment details needed.
Am I charged for failed requests?
No. If the platform blocks the request, it times out or something fails on our side, the credits are refunded automatically. A definitive answer such as "this account does not exist" is billed because the lookup completed.
Can I re-read a result without paying again?
Yes. Send cache_days (1 to 14) and a repeat request for the same target within that window is served from your cache for free.
