What the Pinterest Profile Scraper API does
The Pinterest Profile Scraper API returns a public Pinterest profile as JSON: user ID, username, display name, about text, website URL and claimed domain, the verified flag (verified identity or verified merchant) and the public counts: followers, following, pins, boards and video pins, plus the largest profile image. Send a username, an @handle or a profile URL. You do not need a Pinterest developer account or an app review. The claimed domain makes it useful for connecting Pinterest accounts to the businesses behind them, and regular snapshots turn the counts into growth charts. For the account's pins, use the Pinterest pins endpoint. Each lookup costs 1 credit; failed requests are refunded and cached repeats are free.
