Telegram and X monitoring for Web3 research

Monitor public Telegram channels and the X accounts you follow, with messages, posts and view counts as JSON.

Why it fits

In crypto and Web3, project news often lands first in a public Telegram channel or on the X account of a founder or an opinion leader. This page covers what you can monitor with the current endpoints: known Telegram channels and known X accounts, polled on your schedule.

  • The latest messages of a public Telegram channel (up to 100), with text, media, views and dates.
  • A Telegram channel's subscriber count, for tracking a community's growth over time.
  • An X account's recent timeline (up to 60 posts, including the pinned post) with engagement counts.
  • Single Telegram messages and X posts by link, with view counts, for archiving what was said.
  • Credits can be bought with crypto, and failed calls are refunded.

In more detail

Monitor accounts you already know

The Telegram posts endpoint returns a public channel's header and its latest messages, and the X posts endpoint returns an account's recent timeline. Poll a list of channels and accounts on a schedule, keep the message or post IDs you have already seen, and anything new is the diff. Telegram view counts are approximate; the original text is kept in view_count_text.

What is not covered

There is no X search or keyword search across X, and no full history: you get the latest posts or messages each time you call. Telegram endpoints work only for public channels with a web preview. Private channels (t.me/c/ links) and private groups are out of scope. Follower lists are not available on either platform.

Paying in crypto

Credits are sold in one-time packs, paid in crypto through our crypto payment processor (credit card payments are coming soon). The docs page on paying with crypto explains networks, underpayment and what happens if you send on the wrong network.

What it costs

Monitor 50 X accounts and 20 Telegram channels once a day, for 30 days

  • X posts1,500 calls × 2 credits = 3,000
  • Telegram posts600 calls × 2 credits = 1,200
  • Total4,200 credits

≈ $6.55 at the Builder rate ($1.56 per 1,000 credits; the pack is 25,000 credits for $39.00)

≈ $5.00 at the Growth rate ($1.19 per 1,000 credits; the pack is 100,000 credits for $119.00)

≈ $3.77 at the Scale rate ($0.90 per 1,000 credits; the pack is 500,000 credits for $449.00)

Packs are bought whole. Credits you do not use stay on your balance and never expire. Failed calls are refunded and not counted here. Polling twice a day doubles the credits. Use a smaller limit for channels that post rarely. Credit calculator

Endpoints to use

Each endpoint has its own page with fields, limits and an example response.

Example: a daily Telegram digest

  1. List the public channels you want to follow.
  2. Once a day, call Telegram posts for each channel with a small limit.
  3. Keep the IDs you have already seen and pass only new messages on.
  4. Send the new messages to a chat, a sheet or an AI agent for a summary.

Integrations that fit

Web3 analytics: questions

Can I search X for a keyword or a ticker?

Not today. The X endpoints take a known account or post. Keyword search on X is not available.

Can I read old Telegram messages?

Each call returns up to the 100 latest messages of a public channel. There is no paging into older history.

Do private Telegram groups work?

No. Only public channels with a web preview are supported.

How do I pay?

Credit packs are paid in crypto. See the pay with crypto guide in the docs for networks and edge cases.
