What the Telegram Profile Scraper API does

The Telegram Profile Scraper API returns the public t.me card of a Telegram channel, group, bot or user: display name, type, verification badge, description, photo and the public counters. Channels return their exact subscriber count, groups their exact member count and how many members are online now, and bots or mini apps their monthly users. The raw counter line from the page is included, along with the t.me link and, for channels, the t.me/s/ feed URL. Send a username, an @handle or a t.me link. type is inferred from the public counters, so treat it as a strong hint rather than a guarantee. No Telegram account or bot token is needed. Each lookup costs 1 credit.

How is the type determined?

It is inferred from the public counters on the t.me page: channel, group, bot or user.

Does it return messages?

No. Use the Telegram channel posts endpoint for the latest messages of a public channel.

How much does the Telegram Profile Scraper API cost?

Am I charged for failed requests?

No. If the platform blocks the request, it times out or something fails on our side, the credits are refunded automatically. A definitive answer such as "this account does not exist" is billed because the lookup completed.
