What the Twitch Videos Scraper API does
The Twitch Videos Scraper API returns a channel's latest videos, newest first, up to 50 per request: past broadcasts by default, or highlights, uploads or all types. Each video has its ID, link, title, type, duration in seconds, view count, creation and publish time in ISO 8601, a 640x360 preview thumbnail and the game or category. The response also includes total_count, the number of videos of that type on the channel. Send a Twitch login name or a channel URL. Twitch refuses later pages to logged-out clients, so has_more only tells you that older videos exist; you cannot page past the latest 50. type all also includes premieres. Each request costs 1 credit, and failed requests are refunded.

Use cases
- Measure average views of a streamer's recent broadcasts before a sponsorship.
- Track which games and categories a channel streams over time.
- Collect highlights and uploads of channels you work with for reporting.
Limitations: Unofficial API: not affiliated with or endorsed by the platform. Public data only, as a logged-out visitor sees it. Videos and clips are limited to what the channel shows publicly (up to 50 per request).
- Newest first, up to 50 videos. Twitch refuses later pages to logged-out clients, so has_more only tells you that older videos exist.
- type=all also includes premieres.
Questions
Can I get older videos?
No. Twitch refuses later pages to logged-out clients, so you get the latest 50 at most. has_more only tells you that older videos exist.
Which video types are supported?
archive (past broadcasts, the default), highlight, upload or all. all also includes premieres.
Is the total number of videos included?
Yes. total_count is the total number of videos of the requested type on the channel.
How much does the Twitch Videos Scraper API cost?
1 credit per successful request. Credits are bought in one-time packs and never expire. New accounts get 100 free credits. No payment details needed.
Am I charged for failed requests?
No. If the platform blocks the request, it times out or something fails on our side, the credits are refunded automatically. A definitive answer such as "this account does not exist" is billed because the lookup completed.
Can I re-read a result without paying again?
Yes. Send cache_days (1 to 14) and a repeat request for the same target within that window is served from your cache for free.
