What the Spotify Artist Scraper API does
The Spotify Artist Scraper API returns a Spotify artist by link, URI or ID: name, the largest artist image and the artist's top tracks, about 10, each with title, artist names, duration, explicit flag, 30-second preview URL and link. Send an open.spotify.com artist link, a spotify:artist: URI or the 22-character ID. There is no Spotify developer app or OAuth involved. Monthly listeners, followers and genres are not publicly available and are not returned, so plan around the top tracks rather than audience numbers. Snapshots over time show how an artist's top tracks change after a release. Each request costs 1 credit, failed requests are refunded and repeat reads within your cache window are free.

Am I charged for failed requests?
No. If the platform blocks the request, it times out or something fails on our side, the credits are refunded automatically. A definitive answer such as "this account does not exist" is billed because the lookup completed.

Yes. Send cache_days (1 to 14) and a repeat request for the same target within that window is served from your cache for free.
